Electrically Released Brake
- The ERS VAR-14 brake is an electrically released brake. This Sheave-Grip® modular braking system is designed for retrofit/modernization of gear motors. It has been developed to prevent ascending car overspeed and unintended movement and complies with Section 2.19, ASME A.17.1 and EN 81-1 / EN 81-80.
